Advanced Huna Healing

In five half days you will learn how to practice the ancient healing arts of Kahi, Kupono, Kuhi, Ka'ao, and Ka Huna at Aloha International's center, "Hale Huna," in Volcano Village.

  • Day 1: Kahi, the art of skin massage "that relaxes the bones."
  • Day 2: Kupono, the art of harmonizing body, mind, and spirit.
  • Day 3: Kuhi, the art of healing with Hawaiian "feng shui."
  • Day 4: Ka'ao, the art of therapeutic storytelling.
  • Day 5: Ka Huna, a collection of healing arts to round out your training.

The course will operate from Hale Huna, Aloha International's center in the forest of Volcano, Big Island, Hawaii. Each day's training will run from 9 am to 12 noon, except for Monday, which includes an orientation at 8 am. A graduation lunch will be provided on the last day.

For the afternoons, students will be provided with assignments, maps and information for interesting sites to visit, and optional activities to attend. Be sure to visit Big Island Info for Students for information on lodging and car rentals. Transportation is not included in the course fee.

Tuition for the course is US$1050 per student, which includes materials and the graduation lunch. A deposit of $250.00 wll reserve your space. Class size is limited to 15.
